At United Friends School, we believe that learning happens best in a place where everyone feels like they belong. From the moment you step onto our campus, you’ll feel the warmth of a close-knit community that truly knows and celebrates each child, family, and staff member. UFS isn’t just a school—it’s a home where relationships are built, values are lived, and joy is at the center of everything we do.
Our intentionally small size makes it possible for every voice to be heard and every person to feel valued. Whether we’re gathering for Meetings, exploring Licking Run Creek, or sharing stories at one of our school events, we create spaces where connections deepen and belonging flourishes.
Guided by Quaker testimonies like Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, and Care for the Earth, we instill in our students the importance of both individual growth and collective responsibility. Service is at the heart of who we are—our students don’t just learn about the world; they contribute to it. Whether it’s through service-learning projects, caring for our Community Garden, or giving back to local organizations, our kids see firsthand how their actions make a difference.
We also know that learning is about joy and discovery. Our progressive approach to education brings learning to life with hands-on projects, real-world exploration, and the freedom to play and create. Programs like our creek study, where students dive into the science and beauty of our local watershed, spark curiosity and a deep love for the natural world.
At UFS, every child is known, every family is welcomed, and every person belongs. We’re so excited to invite you into our community—a place where we grow, serve, and thrive together.
In Friendship,
Daena Berdougo Remondelli, Head of School
