About Us
United Friends School (UFS) is an independent progressive Quaker school serving children from Toddler through Fifth Grade. Our educational experience is designed to engage, challenge, and inspire every learner through a blended approach that combines strong foundational skills with hands-on learning, STEAM exploration, outdoor education, creative arts, and collaborative projects, with joy and learning at the center. Within our small, supportive community, students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.
Mission
Rooted in the Quaker testimonies of Simplicity, Peace & Social Justice, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Care for the Earth, United Friends School educates students to meet the rest of their lives with courage and conviction by engaging them in critical inquiry, solution-seeking, and participation in social action. United Friends School nurtures the intellectual, spiritual, and emotional growth of students and guides them to see the Light in themselves and in others.
