As we were raising our son, we started to realize that we wanted more for him, to foster his curiosity and love for learning in a non-traditional setting. We came upon UFS in our search and knew their dynamic approach to project-based learning was what we were looking for. Our intuition was solidified before he even started preschool, as we met his teachers and saw the creative ways they initiated learning opportunities. Our son comes home and excitedly describes the projects he and his friends are working on (“I made a worm habitat today!”) and the time he spends engaging in outdoor exploration. We are thrilled to be part of a school that embraces parental involvement, as well as community integration while teaching our son to be a good human. Many thanks to the community at UFS for these unique opportunities; we are looking forward to continuing this journey with our son at UFS for years to come.
