Student and Community Life

As a member of our school community, students are provided with a challenging academic environment, but our focus is not confined to the four walls of a classroom. Our extra-curricular and enrichment programs extend the learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Enrichment activities enable students to focus on team-building, leadership skills, making new friendships, and building lifelong connections. We encourage our students to explore their interests and spark new ones! We also encourage parents, guardians, and friends, to joyfully participate in community events, class projects, and programs such as our Community Garden.

Athletics

The athletic calendar is divided into three seasons. In the Fall students play Soccer; In the Winter students play Basketball; and in the Spring months, students participate in Track. All sports are co-ed and any student who would like to participate are invited to join a team. Practices are held three times a week for all sports. Read More about our Athletics Program.

Service Learning

The UFS community believes strongly in the values of teaching service and stewardship to our students. Service projects are integrated into the curriculum and are aligned with the Quaker testimony of Stewardship.
