Legacy/Planned Giving Planned giving benefits the school beyond a person’s lifetime, such as retirement assets, charitable remainder trusts, annuities, insurance policies, and bequests. There are special tax provisions for giving from an IRA directly to a charity. If you desire to redirect an asset that might otherwise be taxed heavily or incur capital gains, please contact Meurcie Zignoli at mzignoli@unitedfriendsschool.org Matching Gifts Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that double a charitable contribution made by their employees to United Friends School. Some companies even match gifts given by spouses or retirees. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources department. If your company offers matching gifts, please fill out the company form and send it to United Friends School via one of the methods below.
