Gifts in Kind

Gifts in kind, also known as in-kind donations, are a form of charitable giving of goods and services. The value of the gift is assigned by the donor. Although you cannot deduct the value of your time or services, you can deduct the expenses you incur while donating your services. Please contact Daena Remondelli before making an in-kind donation to ensure that the donation will be accepted by the school.

Legacy/Planned Giving

Planned giving benefits the school beyond a person’s lifetime, such as retirement assets, charitable remainder trusts, annuities, insurance policies, and bequests. There are special tax provisions for giving from an IRA directly to a charity.  If you desire to redirect an asset that might otherwise be taxed heavily or incur capital gains, please contact our Head of School, Daena Remondelli dremondelli@unitedfriendsschool.org

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that double a charitable contribution made by their employees to United Friends School. Some companies even match gifts given by spouses or retirees. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources department. If your company offers matching gifts, please fill out the company form and send it to United Friends School via one of the methods below.
