What is the United Friends Fund?

Beginning in the fall and through the entire school year, we encourage every member of the UFS community to contribute to our Annual Fund, affectionately known as the United Friends Fund. The United Friends Fund helps to support tangible resources that enhance our students’ education, staff training & development, school safety, technology, and more during the year, and for years to come. While student tuition funds our mission, the United Friends Fund supports our vision. Gifts to the United Friends Fund begin at just $1, so all members of our community can participate. See below for more information on what your contribution to the United Friends Fund will support this year.

• UFS Science Room Furniture – We aim to raise $25,000 to complete our purchase of furniture needed in our new science room.
• School Safety – We aim to raise $15,000 to enhance safety and security measures at UFS, while maintaining a welcoming and friendly environment for all.
• Curriculum Enhancement – We plan to increase our budget used to enhance student curriculum and learning opportunities in order to provide an educational experience like none other.
• Buildings and Grounds – We plan to set aside a portion of our annual fund monies to support maintenance needs and regular improvements to our physical school space.
• Extracurricular Enhancements – We plan to increase our budget related to extracurricular experiences for every UFS student, with the hopes of offering a wider variety of clubs, sports, and other extracurricular experiences.
• Service – Rooted in the Quaker testimony of service, we aim to direct funds toward service projects that bring a sense of meaning to our students and enhance our local community.
