Opening Access to Quaker Education

United Friends School believes that economic diversity enriches the educational opportunity for all families and is critical to the health of the school. We, therefore, charge a range of tuitions based on family income, providing as much tuition assistance as we can afford. Flexible tuition is based on the principle that a family’s financial commitment should be in equitable proportion to its financial resources. Every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition and fees, thereby supporting the community to the extent family circumstances permit.

To help us objectively assess what a family is able to contribute to education expenses, United Friends School uses FACTS financial aid assessment as the baseline for our flexible tuition determinations. We also consider our policies and the resources available for returning students and applicant families. Recipients of financial aid must re-apply annually. Decisions about admission and flexible tuition are two separate processes. All financial information provided will be held in strict confidence.
