Throughout the year, students have the option to participate in programs and performances that enhance the United Friends School curriculum. Enrichment programs are offered after the school day and allow students to explore a number of activities. Guitar lessons, Cooking, Robotics, Movement Theater, and Model UN are some of the after-school activities that UFS has offered. Ask us about our current programs. Guitar Lessons Students learn how to read musical notation, locate notes on the guitar, and play with proper technique. Prior music experience not required. Cooking Blend, bake, chop, and enjoy sweet and savory afterschool snacks . Students will create delicious sushi, cookies, smoothies, and more. Gardening Using the UFS Community Garden, students will learn the stages of harvesting, planting, and seed collection. The importance of native plants, compost, and organic gardening. Movement Theater This class will use movement and play to explore the role of the whole body in theater and performance. Enrichment Programs are not included in tuition and are fully funded by participating families.
