About Our Private Quaker School
United Friends School welcomes the opportunity to get to know your child. We are an independent school serving students from Pre-K to 8th grade. Students attend classes in Math, Science, Spanish, and Humanities – reading, writing, critical thinking skills, as well as Language Arts and Social Studies.
As a school, we are deeply committed to creating a community where students are immersed in environmental education, Quaker values, and service. We are the only independent school in Bucks county with a grant-funded outdoor education program.
- The learning environment is an inquiry-driven, hands-on, project-based culture that fosters group/class discussion; collaborative learning; and independent work, which are conducive to creativity, exploration, and personal growth.
- Quakerism Class – Students learn about the faith tradition that forms our school’s foundation.
- Students are exposed to a curriculum focused on diversity, equity and inclusion. It is important to our school community to uphold an environment where all viewpoints and perspectives are represented and welcome.
- Our grant-funded environmental action program – provides stream monitoring equipment. Student participate in weekly creek trips and at least one capstone trip per year.
