The Annual Fund

Raising tuition to adequately cover the costs associated with education would exclude many families who could contribute to the vitality of our school. The Annual Giving Drive is a direct solicitation effort that gives each family the opportunity to support the financial health of UFS to the extent of their ability and help keep tuition increases to a minimum.
Annual fund monies are used for important, everyday expenses including faculty salaries and benefits, program enrichment and financial aid. Gifts are solicited not only from parents, but also grandparents, trustees, staff, alumni families, friends, corporations, and Quaker Monthly Meeting members.
We strive for 100% participation from UFS families, faculty, staff and trustees. All gifts are equally valued and your support sends a vital message to foundations and potential community donors that UFS is vibrant, fiscally sound and worthy of support. Each year, more than $50,000 is required to fund the operating budget from Annual Giving efforts.
