Whether you are parents who need daily after school care, or whether you are parents who need care at a moment’s notice, United Friends School has an After School Program to serve you. We also have a fee-based After School Enrichment Program. Please note, however, that if the school closes for inclement weather, all after school programs will also be cancelled.
The After School Program runs from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm*. This service is open to UFS students in Mott-4 class (full day) - 8th grade. There is a $35.00 yearly registration fee for all families who use the After School Program, either as regular users or drop-ins. The hourly rate for all children is $6.50 per hour. All families MUST purchase pre-paid hours. Any portion of an hour will be charged for a full hour (from 1-59 minutes). Snacks and drinks are provided at no extra cost. After school is generally a time to relax and unwind. Children often play outdoors, spend time in our “Big room” or have their choice of a daily-planned activity.
Children are not permitted to be left unattended after school. They must
either participate in an extracurricular activity or attend After School Programs. *Note: Anyone picked up after 6:00 is subject to an additional fee of $1.00 per every minute late.

Music Classes
Shiraniacs- Love to sing? Here is your chance! Come join Jody and Margaret to release your inner vocalist. We will sing for some school meetings and at the recital at the end of each session.

Music Explorers-Want to play an instrument but not sure which one? Come try a bunch of them with Jody and Margaret. Instruments will change each session with some extra cost. For example, violin rental is about $25 and the purchase of flutophone is about $3. Call Margaret for additional information.

New! Recorder Ensemble-Strike up the recorder band and join Margaret for a chance to play old music, new music and any music that you create. We will perform at recitals each session. Bring your friends.

Fitness Classes
Stretch 'n Grow- Is an early childhood physical education program designed to promote exercise and wellness.Using stories and music child learn the proper fundamentals of exercise and nutrition while taking an imaginative trip to the jungle, the rain forest and more.

Art Classes
Open Studio - Join Andrea as she opens the art room and its wide array of materials. The focus will be student driven exploration of various media such as sculpture, drawing, painting, mixed media and more.

Cooking, Nutrition and Kitchen Safety
Greens and Grains- Children will enjoy preparing healthy meals by using ingredients from the UFS garden, discover that nutritious food is also delicious food, and learn about foods from a variety of cultures from around the world.

Language
Mandarin Chinese-Taught at UFS, but offered through Bucks County Community College, the FLEX program is a fun, engaging way to learn a language that includes songs, chants, games and activities.
