Visual Lesson in Math

Bob Swain and his wife Gloria visited the 1st to 3rd grade students of United Friends School. Bob is a retired math teacher from Souderton who developed a program that teaches children about math in a unique way. He captures his student audience by using visual aids such as a triangle table, golf balls, an undersized bicycle and by juggling geometric shapes. Bob impressed all United Friends School students by building a 3 dimensional triangle made up of 560 golf balls that did not break or fall apart.
